The RB from Ohio is..I think...a LB. So far as the rest of them go. How many RB's did we use last year? We lose Pettigrew and probably Samuel. Hopgood will be a senior and Martin's coming off an injury. There's going to be opportunities for some playing time there this year and even more in two years.

And Globe is correct...RB's and QB's are usually the best athletes on the field in HS. You might see a guy move from RB to Slot WR or DB in college. I don't care what the internet says....most coaches aren't stupid. They'll find a way to get the best players on the field.

The amazing thing about this class is we have verbals from three guys who were first team all state in FL's "big school" class. (Obas, Moore and Pierre-Louis) and a guy who was second team (Shepherd). I think Coppet was 2nd or 3rd team a level down. That's a haul for a MAC school and we probably wouldn't be getting them if the FL guys that came up here last year and the year before weren't happy.

I think you're right on re: the OHIO "RB"...he's from Brush HS, east of Cleve., and was used as a RB his JR.year due to their best RB being hurt...but I think BG sees him primarily as a LB, which is what he played mostly this year (though I think some games he was going both ways, incl. RB)

I hope nearly everyone that we recruit plays more then one position in HS. The best players almost always do.

Many of the videos are either down or from the 2010 season, which was the recruit's sophomore year. Difficult to make assessments without current video as kids change a lot from 15 to 18.
