Jasmine Matthews of Marian Catholic HS finished out a great HS career. She was a leader all year for the 30-5 and state ranked team. They lost late to potential state champion Whitney Young in the Illinois 4A Super Sectional earlier in the week.
Jasmine had some big games in the tourney including in the last game with 21 points and 7 rebounds.
Good addition for the Falcons as she is also regarded as an athletic defender. Once she adjusts to the college game and gets a little stronger, she might be a fine contributor for BG.
