Just got back from the Westerville South v Northland game and there was an interesting JR who is being recruited by MAC schools. I know its just a snapshot but 6-8 JR Devon Scott really seemed like the best player in the game. And that game included Travon Jackson who is headed to Wisconsin and Trey Burke who is going to Michigan. It may have been the case that he was just the biggest guy in the game but he really stood out.

If thats the case he has a 6-7 JR teammate that also looked pretty good.

He is ranked higher although I dont think he looked as good in this game.

If you looked these kids up on the site, you should notice that BG is NOWHERE to be found in the list of possible schools for either kid, nor have they offered the 2nd one, although 3 MAC schools HAVE. Hopefully, there's a logical reason why to this.

They are also both Jrs and Rivals information is not always great. Just because we are not in the mix now doesnt mean w cant get in there and just because we are not listed doesnt mean we arent interested.

Dennis Hopson was an assistant coach at Northland under Satch Sullinger. If we haven't offered, there is a good reason.

Interesting stuff. I would love to know why if we have not offered. I think he is going to be a stud.

My old place of employment , Garfield Hts. HS, plays Northland in the semis this week... interesting to me because, I scored GH basketball for TWENTY-SIX years and we had a grand total of TWO winning seasons, both barely about .500... Now GH was ranked #1 in the state at end of season... Big team, with a 6'7,280lb Ctr. (who's going to play FB at OU), a 6'9" "backup", 6'6" Soph forward, and a 6'2" point guard going to Penn.St. next year. So this game should be a heck of a matchup... 1st state appearance for GH, as the PD put it, "gas was .18 a gallon, stamps were .03 each the last time the Bulldogs went to Columbus, 61 yrs. ago.

GO DAWGS!!!!!! :supz:
