Post by mc3022 »

Over the course of the next few weeks I'll be posting about the BG recruits individually and my breakdowns of what I see in their film (or at least for the ones I can find film for)

I will plan to bring in stats from each of the three major sites.

Thanks for doing this, as it will save some of us a lot of time going to all of the sites.

I believe Coy Brown will be linebacker at BG rather than a running back.

There's some good size on those linemen. Only one DL so far but we have a far greater need at OL right now then DL. I'm sure a few more DL recruits will show up soon.

I'd love to see us keep hom at RB and hang another 10-15lbs on him. It'd be great to have an athletic back in that 230-240 range or bigger...Like Starks was at Buffalo and Pierce at Temple or that Durham kid at Kent. That's a dimension we lack...a guy that run through a DLineman
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I believe that Both Rivals and ESPN have Coy listed as an OLB - While ESPN has him listed as a RB. - Be interested to see where they put him in the fall.

Its pretty clear that OL (Tackle, specifically) was a major focus during the recruiting season

Keep in mind too that Rivals is typically the hardest in grading their kids.

Good info from our breakdown guy!

Good to see Brown, Knapke and Lunsford in for the women's bball game today.

Lunsford is big and needed a couple seats. Knapke's team just won the state title in his division in Indiana. Brown looks like a game ready fellow. Looks like a "linebacker" for sure. Very good frame and appeared quite athletic.

Go Falcons!
