One advantage to being retired is that you can spend time doing inane things .... like checking out how the various rating sites are looking at BG's opponents for next year. This is what I've found thus far.....

TEAM SCOUT RIVALS ESPN

UT 8 5 5

Miami 2 3 4

N.Ill 1 5 4

Ball St. 1 1 5

WMU 1 2 1

OU 0 4 1

CMU 4 4 4
===============================================================
BGSU 4 5 6

These are the 3* kids by schools...sorry...didn't take the time to "compare" the sites to see how many kids TOTAL would be considered in this category i.e. BG's 12 of 20...But sure looks like MAC schools in general are pulling in more of these kids... Of course, if one looks at OSU etc. they have very few 3* kids..mostly 4's and a few 5's.

Actually, just for the heck of it, I DID do further "research" on UT's commits.... According to my count, 10 out of 23 kids are 3*.... But two are "unanimous" with the recruiting sites.. and 4 are rated that highly by at least Two of the sites.... It'll be interesting to see how the "team ratings" turn out this year. UT has led this parade for last 3 yrs. I think...but it might just be a bit closer this time...especially if the one "soft verbal" goes to the B-11/12 or whatever.
