Offers this weekend

Post by Warthog »

Saw on another message board that we offered football schollies to four young men from Sylvania Southview at the 7 on 7 tournament at BGSU this weekend. Probably were other offers made there too.

And TSports Report is already reporting that one of the Southview kids has committed to BG. QB Austin Valdez.

Well, I know Southview runs a funky offense with a lot of different sets and used at least 3 different "QB's" last season.

Not sure if the 'public' can view these pages, but I am registered on both these websites that Valdez has recruiting info posted.

Nate Hall is just going to be a junior, 6'3", 200 lb safety. http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/v ... &user=6374

Ryan Stout, also just a junior, 6'5", 245 lb DE, http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/v ... &user=5732

And Pinckney is a junior as well, 6'3", 175, 'athlete' http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/v ... &user=7792 (Sadly, three of his highlight clips were against Bowling Green HS from last season.) Pinckney also finished 6th in the State in the long jump this May, and jumped 23'1" at the regional. That jump would have won at State. He was also a member of Southview's state qualifying 4 X 200 and 4 X 400 relay teams. (Nate Hall was also on the 4 X 400 team.)

Interesting in that neither Rivals nor Scout has his listed as a verbal (as of Wednesday, 6-20) :-k
