5'9 174. Offers from, South Florida, Indiana, Boston College, BG, BC, and Vandy.
Probably a slim chance of landing him, but you never know. South Florida kid visiting in January, maybe he'll fall in love with snow.

I don't think we (BGSU) have ever had a **** running back. Not many of them land in the MAC. I always thought it was a great opportunity for good/great HS running backs and QBs to showcase their talents. Good bunch of QBs last decade, but not too many runners although Starks, D. Chapman (Marshall) and Turner come to mind.

Dri Archer, Garrett Wolf, Bernard Pierce, Jalen Parmele, Anton Samuel, PJ Pope, Eugene Jarvis, Kalvin McRae, Miquale Lewis, Marcus Merriweather, Trinity Dawson for starters. I think there have been plenty of good running backs in the conference in the last decade or so.

Oh, yea they were all VERY good. Were they rated as 4 star coming out of HS? Pierce probably was.

Fair enough, just thought you meant number of quality backs in general in the conference compared to QB's we've seen come through. 4* rated recruits are extremely rare in the MAC at any position. A quick look at rivals shows 1 signed in 2011, none in 2012, and 1 so far in the 2013 class.
I don't get too caught up in the recruiting sites ratings anyway. Even so, I can't say I wouldn't be excited to see a 4* RB come to BG

Stars are fun off-season things too keep the fan base excited. Don't mean much IMO. We just graduated our former 4* WR who got moved to tight end and had maybe a dozen catches the last two years. Solid player but not nearly the best in the league.

Completely agree h20. It's so hard to accurately predict what a high schooler is going to do at the next level. Too many variables. Level of competition they saw, how much more they will develop and improve, etc etc.

He ran a 10.78 100 yard dash in competition. Fast isn't going to be the issue.

10.7 100 "YARD" dash is pretty average........10.7 100 "meter" is quick!
