St. Ed's Lineman commits

Post by Class of 61 »

Recruiting sites are reporting that Tyler King, 6'3", 265 DT from Lakewood St. Ed's has verballed to BG....
Hope we keep this one...been quite awhile since we had a kid from Ed's that stayed at BG. One of the best FB programs in the state with some HUGE linemen over past few yrs. \:D/

Excellent news.

It has been a while. Raishaun Stover and Rick Mauer are the last two off the top of my head.

Urban swore Stover was gonna be big time. I think he finished with 1 career TD run...

Yeah, one of the first in an infamous string of untruths he would assure unsuspecting fan bases of.

His abandonment of the program in the heart of the 2002 recruiting season cost us about two years of successful teams and Brandon his job based off of that failed class.

He told recruits on Saturday that BGSU was a great place to play. Then on Sunday, flew out and signed his contract with Utah.

Well, he didn't really lie there. He stood by that it was a great place to play just not to coach and get rich.
