From what I've been able to see re: all the recruiting sites...you've got most if not all of the kids...assuming none of them decommit after the coaching change ala Shaker Hts. WR.... Noticed that most of the recruits are on the D end, indicating we'll need to rebuild that side of the ball ASAP...we DO lose more kids on the Def. this yr.

He's the only one that espn has a scouting report on and it essentially reads exactly like Matt Johnson.

Thomas Jones is a physical LB along the lines of DJ Lynch. Give Chance Weitz a year or two to grow into his frame (and we have the depth at DT to do that) and he'll be a force. Podbielski is a good looking athlete for a kid his size..be awesome to see him as a DE.

I DID forget to notice before, but don't we also have a kid on campus now who transferred from Pitt, I believe? Don't know which recruiting class he'd fit into, but another DT if I recall. (Terrel Jackson?)

Rutgers was the school that offered Callaway. The article states that several others have shown interest. Rutgers wants him to visit this weekend, but his dad stated in the article that he doesn't think that will happen. His dad is a BG grad. I really think that we are getting a steal in this kid.

I don't know which recruits are missing or what websites are accurate, but I have not seen one list that has us having 18 commits.

Scout - 13
247 - 14
Rivals - 16
ESPN - 15

+1. The urgency of this cannot be overstated. Every day these recruits are left to twist in the wind is a punch in the gut and there's only so many of those that can be sustained.

Timing will be interesting. If you announce before the game, then the dynamic that scheier is trying to do if he doesn't get the gig may impact the current team. However, they coaches and AD have reached out to the recruits which is good, but teams are circling and have made contact with many of the recruits. Recruits need to remember why they committed in the first place. but a decision sooner than later will help stem the tide of schools trying to pry some good recruits loose.

Just saw this on Twitter today, Roger Lewis (@PrimeTimeLewis) tweeted at Matt Johnson, "My bro @717_mattyj11 (Matt Johnson) doing good recruiting me everyday. Have not made a decision but he a cool dude #FalconNation"

Roger Lewis:
4* per Rivals
3* per ESPN, Rivals and Scout

Has offers from Cincinnati, Ohio State, West Virginia, Arizona and 10 other MAC schools aside from BG. Also has offers from Marshall, Middle Tennessee State.
