Saw Stow vs Hudson several weeks back... Also has a solid RB and WR, along w/ big o line... All help make a QB llok good. How would this affect Cunningham's verbal to us?

Michigan State loves those NE Ohio QB's (Cook and Hoyer most recently...although Cousins was a Michigan kid) I could see Sparty making the strong play for young Mr Vantrease.
There's a 2016 kid up in Saline that I would have loved to see us get named Josh Jackson...he's going to Va Tech as of now, but he would be a perfect fit for our offense. I saw him play live not knowing who he was...by about the third play in his first series on was on the phone trying to google who he was.

Hah...I did the same thing last year at a basketball game in Jackson when I saw Trevor Manuel play.Flipper wrote:Michigan State loves those NE Ohio QB's (Cook and Hoyer most recently...although Cousins was a Michigan kid) I could see Sparty making the strong play for young Mr Vantrease.

Re: Stow stud QB offered schollie...
Ha!....The week Bedford played Ann Arbor Skyline we saw this decent WR with the last name Rison make a few plays...thinking "no..it can't be" I googled his name and sure enough, it was the son of Andre Rison. He's a **** 2017 recruit with a verbal to MSU and an offer from Alabama. High school sports are a blast to watch...you never know what you'll find.
In that vein...remember the name Kolin Demens. He's a LB for Country Day HS. He just finished his SO year...but he's going to be a really good LB for someone...probably UM or MSU.

Kyle Vantrease - both parents are BGSU grads.
His father graduated with PE Teacher Licensure (and is a huge OSU fan based on his Facebook page). He was a night guard in a couple of residence halls.
His mother was a swimmer (not sure if she swam all four years)
I knew his parents while they attended.

And his father is really excited by the BG offer. We would seem to be dad's first choice. Not that that's everything, but it can't hurt
