It'd be nice to have bragging rights...but..these titles are meaningless. We won the MAC twice in three years with classes that were near the top but never at the top. If we're consistently in the upper 3-5 of the conference, we'll be fine. Right now we're clumped with UT and a suddenly resurgent WMU and that's a good place to be.
Looking around in the rest of non P5 football....Marshall has really hit bottom this year. UTSA (Texas San Antone) is having a really good year in CUSA as is MTSU. The whole upper third of that conference is outpacing the upper third of the MAC this year. That bears watching...
We've offered a mountain of a JUCO OL Matthew Tanner. Would love to add a road grader like that
