2 New Recruits

We picked up 2 new recruits for the Class of 2018 over the weekend.
The first is a 3-star (247 Sports) defensive tackle out of Centerville High School, Jevon Henderson. He is 6'3, 265, and he also had offers from Cincinnati, Colorado State, Duke, Kent State, Marshall, Miami, Toledo, Western Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio, and UCF. He instantly became the 4th highest-rated player in our class, and he is the 32nd best recruit in school history since 2000.
In addition to Henderson, we also secured a commitment from 3-star (Scout) defensive back James Harris Jr. He is 6'1 and 170, and he also held an offer from Florida Atlantic, which is a school he lives right down the road from. The fact that he is heading north to play for Bowling Green instead of staying in the warmth of Florida to play for Lane Kiffin speaks volumes about the recruiting job Coach Jinks is doing.
Overall, I am very excited about the future of this team. I hope we can keep the momentum going on the recruiting trail.
