Loeffler secured his first commitment of the 2022 class today. Jalen Holly, 6’ WR out of River Rouge, MI. Had offers from most of the MAC.

BG is also listed in the Top 15 (whatever that means nowadays) for a 4 star athlete named Jaden Mangham. I normally wouldn't even note this BUT BG is the only Group of 5 school in the mix. He has offers from schools like Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Baylor and more. I know it likely won't impact our team, I just like seeing a school like BG making a big enough impact to even be a thought with offers like that.

Manghum has huge list of offers , including 6 MAC schools... guessing you probably saw an early report.

No, he posted his top 15 on his twitter page a week or so ago and BG was included. Only non-P5 team included.

Current list shows 32 offers, 6 from MAC schools. So it was certainly possible for him to narrow list to “ top15” , but w/ BG as only group of 5 school. Pretty tough competition.

Jaden visited BG last year and likley included us on his list based on a good expereince. I would not read anything more into it, but dare to dream. He is an exceptional player and well-liked. Groves has several other players that should be on our radar.

BG baseball may have had a better “football” recruiting season than FOOTBALL does. Quite a # of very good football players in the baseball class!

Markim McKinnie, a 3-star RB/DB/WR out of Archbishop Hoban HS, has committed to BG.

He also had offers from Cincinnati, Boston College, and Toledo.

247 finally added John Griffith and Braxton Todd to the class. They’ve been committed since June.

I take their class rankings with a huge grain of salt right now - they’ll likely be much more accurate when they’re updated after signing day.
