BG Doubleheader Saturday

Post by BGSU Crazy Fan 58 »

We have a full day of BG sports this saturday with the men's hoops game vs. OU at 2 and then the hockey team faces off against RIT at 5. I know I'll be headed over to the ice arena right after the basketball game. That's a weird start time for hockey, 5:00??? I wonder why they are playing then and not at 7 or 7:30. Anyone know? It also doesnt give you a whole lot of time in between the b-ball game and hockey game. Well I was just wondering who else is plainning on hitting up both games and making it an all orange & brown saturday!

You better make that a TRIPLE HEADER on Saturday!

We also have women's gymnastics Saturday evening at 7:00 PM over at the Eppler Complex.

After the hockey game has ended, everyone should come over and cheer the ladies on. They are 2-0 at home this year and go up against the squad from Northern Illinois.

See the write-up for last weeks match -

RIT apparently has a game Sunday at 3 or 3:30 on the road somewhere else. This gives them a better chance to get out of town early.

I will for sure be at the BG/OU basketball game. If I can get out of a dinner obligation back in Cleveland, I'll be staying for the hockey game too.

I will be at both games, probably playing in the Athletic Band for both games. I plan on cheering a lot, so my voice will be shot at the end of the hockey game, but if we can pull off both of those victories, it will be worth it.
