I think it's time people stopped being so damn defensive when talking about our teams. Yes its great that we graduate our players, yes its great that our coaches like Dan Dakich care about molding our guys into true men and toward success for the rest of their lives, yes its great that we have loyal fans. But 20-point losses to nobody teams like Wright State? That has to stop. No ifs, ands, or buts around it, that has to stop.
wright state shot the lights out today, it was unbelieveable, they didnt miss! but were not any good, th only good thing i saw today was the play of eric marschall, the young gun was a beast out there today...the only problem was nobody else did much of anything...so yeah, just like always the ladies were the highlight of the weekend...and how bout nate robinson winning teh slam dunk, thats great stuff

Right on the money. Couldn't have said it better myself. It's like you are insulting someone's family member or close friend just because you speak your mind about the program. But no matter how well you sugarcoat this loss to WSU, it was a game that BG should never has lost. This program is in trouble.

Speaking of molding young men - did anyone see Brandon Pardon, his wife and baby boy at yesterday's game. He transferred here from Wright State, didn't he?

As for Trent Jackson, the graduate that robbed the carryout here in town - on a bicycle - with a wig on - do we just credit him for molding himself? That was as bad as Clarrett trying to steal in Columbus.

Was Dubrey Black dismissed from the team?
Did anyone see Laranaga squeek by on the road in the Bracketbuster game yesterday?
Just some random thoughts running through my mind today.
AND Yes, Marshall definitely was the bright spot yesterday. He sure had the moves under the basket!!!!!

Fitch and Dubrey Black were both dismissed for getting caught with weed. Personally, I think getting dismissed for weed is a tad harsh (compared to other crimes), but the that's just the libertarian-liberal thing in me (see Free-for-all forum). In NO WAY does Black and Fitch's infractions compare to what Trent Jackson did. Jacksaon basically lost his mind. I don't think it's fair to say that Jackson's actions were a bad reflection on DD.

I'm looking forward to seeing Marschall show up next year with 20 added pounds of muscle, a pissed off attitude, and the will to become one of the MACs best.

i think youre right on with marschall, he looks like hes gonna be an absolute stud! a diamond in the rough if you will. if he can add the 20 pounds, he will be a very good player as soon as next year for us
