While watching SportsCenter tonight they covered an amazing story. I wish I had a link to share but I haven't found one yet.
They showed clips from a high school hoops game. Turns out the team manager is an autistic child. The coach decided in this game he'd let the kid get a chance to play. The crowd was pumped as they saw the child get a shot. Members of the student section had "face signs" made of his likeness to honor him.
On his first shot in he put up a 3, an got an air ball. When they came back down the floor he was given the ball again and proceeded to shoot six 3 pointers in a row. At the end of the game the whole crowd rushed the court and the child was carried out of the court on the shoulders of the students.
If that doesn't get to you, you're not breathing.
