NCAA pool?

Post by Jham »

Are we planning one again this year? Am I just missing it? Who's going to take the liberty of setting it up?

I've set up an online version in the past... not sure if I have the time this year or not... there was nothing but pride involved for the winner, but it was kinda fun. I'll look into it.

Look out guys! Last night started my ascent to the top of the standings, getting 3 of the 4 games right! :)

I had an awful first two days, and was firmly planted at the bottom of the barrel. I just did a quick look, however, and only one person has more points available than I do! Need UCONN, 'Nova, and UF tonight. Still have my entire final four alive :)

This is where I make my move!

Well Brian it's a good thing that Calhoun's cousins reffed the game by fouling out five UW guys and the goofy white dude was guarding Anderson and afraid to pull the trigger on the steal, b/c I was very very close to locking it up last night. :-D

Karma will eventually get Marcus Williams and UConn for ignoring the whole laptop mess.

Was it really that bad? I was out and around and the last update I saw, UW was up 10 with 14 left... blech. :(

When asked about the "home court" advantage of GMU in Washington DC, Larranaga responded, "Well the only reason Jimmy (Calhoun) is upset about playing here is he feels it's a road game and let's face it, he doesn't play too many road games in the Big East"

This is an obvious reference to Calhoun's notorious reputation for being one of the games biggest bitchers and complainers while trying to intimidate officials and members of the media.
