Roster As We Stand Today?

Post by Rollo83 »

This is the current 2006-07 BG roster as best I can determine. I know Otis hasn't officially signed yet. There are 14 players here on scholarship. Can we still add another player such as a point guard or this Knight kid we have been talking about without one of these players below leaving?

2 Darryl Clements F 6-4 190 So. Detroit, Michigan/Rogers Academy

5 Alvin Freeman F 6-6 206 Jr. Stone Mountain, Georgia/Paideia

Expected to sign today, according to the Detroit News. (I know this seemed like a given, but always nice to see some kind of confirmation in "print".)

It also mentions another potential recruit:
Taylor Truman's Brandon Bowdry, a 6-6 forward, will visit Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Robert Morris.

I don't think Guerin's on scholarship.

Guerin was a walk-on last year and Freeman was two years ago. Freeman is also wildly rumored to have left the program around the time of Moon. So yes, we do have 12 players with Polk on scholarship.

It cracks me up how you guys are making fun of me, when the reality was that the situation was not that simple. We had too many guys on scholarship with eligibility left for the next year when you added the guys coming in. That was the reality of the situation. No one pointed it out before me. I am a genius.
