You can put offers in writing. The LOI is not the only written document involved in the recrutiing process. IIRC, Josh Almanson had a written offer from BG the day or so after he was born.

What makes you think that this kid is a Junior? I saw nothing in the article that indicated the year Either kid is...and I assumed they were seniors.
