We haven't forgotten about hoops at MAC Report Online.
There was a national media teleconference announcing the 2007 BracketBuster field. There will be 102 teams participating this year, including all 12 MAC teams.

2007 BracketBusters Field Announced
It is true the event used to be a showcase for the bubble teams, and it has changed since it started. However, now those teams that used to showcase the day are now the teams that get the TV games. By increasing the field like this, it now also helps all these other schools get a D-I game that year and future homes games with D-I teams either the current year or the next. I actually think it's still a decent idea. The idea of playing in it as being special has certain worn off, but for teams like BG, it still helps, at least in the scheduling aspects.BGorDeath wrote:I think this kind of devalues the Bracket Buster. This was supposed to be a showcase of bubble teams. Now it is just another day of out of conference games.
GO BG!!!
