I'm with jacojdm. At the mid major level, signing to play for a coach is a bad idea. If the team is a succes, you have to deal with the rumors of a better offer, if they go badly you have tro deal with the likelihood of the coach getting canned.
Unless you're considering a school with a guy like coach K or what Dean Smith had at North Carolina (job security up the wazoo), I'd look at the school and the talent at my position rather than the coach

In BG's situation, relative to other MACs and Horizons, there is a far greater liklihood of the coach getting canned. I don't see how a recruit can just ignore that. I'm honestly floored by the quality of our recruits over the past couple years.
My take is that DD will need 18 wins and limit the transfers to 1 in order to get an extension. I wonder if there is a line on this in Vegas.
