Agreed... during that timeout, I nudged my wife and said "Look, Dakich isn't even in the huddle!!" The twins were running it. It was really REALLY cool! Dan was smiling and laughing with the twins the whole game, patting on the back, just totally cool! You could tell the staff and players were getting as much out of it as the twins were.ziggy wrote:Best thing about the game was watching the enjoyment of the two young men involved with the make a wish coaching experience. So neat when Dan let them run the time out with about 8 minutes left and then let them do the post game radio show. Many on this board seem to miss out on the really neat things that many of our BG coaches do in the community! Some things are so much more important than winning a game. BG has so many really quality people in their athletic department..who believe it or not do lose games some times..so what ..it's only a game!
Things like this make me proud to have been a Falcon for as long as I have!! Great work Dan Dakich and everyone involved in this!
