Missed opportunities cost us again
Costly misses, turn overs and fouls cost us the game today against EMU 64-62. Samarco was our leading scorer again. Crap!
"It's not fast food, it's good food quickly!"
The two that stand out in my mind:
1. Missed dunk by Polk. I was disappointed when that ball jarred off the rim and didn't drop, but I still wasn't that upset with him because he was solid ALL DAY aside from that. The kid is going to produce when he is finally included in the game plan around here.
2. Nate Miller missing the layup on the breakaway. Heart breaker, game winner, whatever you wanna call it. Those two points could have very well won us the game. Still love that he plays for BG now even with that play in mind. I'm still trying to get my hands on a Miller beer sign.

I expect Miller to be all MAC the next two years. His game is sharp all around and will only get better. The Niz wrote:The two that stand out in my mind:

Saturday's game
It was nice to see OP and Marschall in the lineup AT THE SAME TIME to start the second half.
In the first half, our 3 platoon big men had 7 fouls in 15 minutes. I guess that's why OP got some playing time....
Was Lefeld's FG his SECOND of the MAC season?
I'm going to be happy to see Samarco depart. He probably got the least ovation of anyone who has scored 1000 points in the history of BGSU. He can't defend and doesn't know the word PASS. Hmmm...shades of Matt Otto the "King of 3's"? When Samarco missed the desperation shot at the end I'm thinking that maybe his luck just ran out.
Anyway. NASCAR season is starting back up. When it ends, it's time for a new basketball season. This one is done, but I'm gonna watch it to the bitter end.
