Hopefully no players will be leaving BG too

Post by BGSU33 »

With the announcement of DD not returning to BG, my thoughts now shift to our team and wondering if we’re also going to see any player defections as well. Of course, I hope we don’t see any at all considering the mass exodus we’ve experienced the past few years. Despite the poor season we had again, we actually have a solid nucleus intact for a new coach to build around and I feel we could be a much-improved team next season – for many reasons. With our without Dakich, I am so tired of seeing players leave year after year and I would be ecstatic to see everyone back next season. Let’s hope the guys we have on board are committed to getting BG back on track.
GO BG!!!

Hamblet won't transfer going into his Senior year, I don't think.
I cannot imagine Miller transferring again and losing another year.

Of the rest of the team the only ones I'm attached to are Otis Polk, Eric Marschall, and Brian Moten.

Outside of those 5 I don't really care who does or doesn't transfer. I'm intrigued by what Chris Knight might be able to do, but we haven't even seen him yet, so I'm not really attached to him. The rest of the team is just a whole lotta "eh" to me. They may become good, but none of them have really shown it yet. If they transfer then so be it.

I just want to get a new coach in here soon so he can start recruiting.
