I know some people were hoping for an uptempo coach, but we should keep in mind that a slower, more defensive style might fit better with our personnel and ease the transition.

I'm not really concerned with tempo. I was just tired of watching the motion offense without a point guard. Efficiency is what we need on offense. Let's see if Orr can bring that back.

I'm not familiar with Orr's offensive and defensive philosophies. Anybody have more info on those?

Not sure if it's a good sign or not, but in his entire coaching career so far, it looks like he's only had two losing seasons. Hopefully he can have that kind of success here at BG. Glad to see that we have someone who apparently knows the game well enough to have continued success.

I hear that his philosphy is to put the ball through the hoop on offense and keep the other team from doing the same without fouling on the defense.

1) How much did he cost? If he got the $300K he was asking for I hope you find a lot more money for Curt Miller.

2) Who were the other candidates?
