It's his cousin Kelvin Grady that is headed for U of M.
Also, from the original list the Green kid from Saginaw is a Junior. Verbaled to KY for 2008 but has withdrawn that with Tubby moving on. Likely Mr. Basketball in Michigan next year so I think he will not be considering BG.

We are listed amongst his suitors, and I neglected to say he was a junior. For being a potential Mr Basketball in Michigan he is not listed very high in the rankings for Michignan players.fredthefalcon wrote:Flipper,Flipper wrote:I thought Demarcus Grady was University of Michigan bound...did he get a release after Ammaker was fired?

You can always dream but I would ask when is the last time BG got a recruit who had verbaled to Kentucky or any Top Ten program in his junior year? Also, I saw Green play in the State semi-finals and he's a big powerful player that can also bring the ball up the court against guards and shoot the three.Globetrotter wrote:We are listed amongst his suitors, and I neglected to say he was a junior. i saw alex kellogg play at the state semifinals and a few other games. while he is very athletic and can run, his shot is horrible. can hardly hit anything outside of 10 feet. maybe it was just the games i saw, who knows. i'd still like to see him at BG though because his shot can and probably will improve over the next few years. he has great athleticism and could help the team out. would be nice to see.

And if he's got a brother coming along later that's supposed to be better than him, might it be worth the effort working with his shot to get Alex on now and hope little brother follows? Or would we be reaching to nab either one from "the big boys"?Lsquared wrote:i saw alex kellogg play at the state semifinals and a few other games. while he is very athletic and can run, his shot is horrible. can hardly hit anything outside of 10 feet. maybe it was just the games i saw, who knows. i'd still like to see him at BG though because his shot can and probably will improve over the next few years. he has great athleticism and could help the team out. would be nice to see.
