Former BG Assistant Marc Iavaroni Named Grizzlies Head Coach

Iavaroni was a BG assistant from 92-94, spent time playing in the NBA and overseas, and as a coach with Cleveland, Miami and recently Phoenix.

I remember this guy from Junior Falcons...It's kind of cool to think he coached me, and now he is going to coach superstars from the Grizzlies (yes, it would be a lot cooler if Memphis had some superstars

I think he used to say, "Get it? Got it? Good!" and that he won an NBA title in Philly? Am I remembering that correctly?

Yeah, he was an assistant under coach L. He played for the Sixers w/ Dr. J, Moses, Daryl Dawkins, Mo Cheeks, Bobby Jones... who am I missing... Norm Nixon? Ernie Grunfeld? Fantastic Sixers teams from the early 80s!
