According to the bgsufalcons.com site, Dusan has left the program.

"Dusan and I came to a mutual agreement, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Orr.

Sounds like a bunch of past quotes from DD when a player left. Oh joy, thought we'd seen the last of these. But maybe this'll be a case of addition by subtraction. Dusan was never athletic , but had hoped he could be a go to 3pt shooter for us. Lets hope this premature "roster change" is the last.

Good luck to Dusan, but the team is better off. He really couldn't play competitvely at this level.

Bingo. As the coach Jackson said himself, "We saw this kid on tape and said, 'Is he D1!?'" Despite his attempt at being nice about it the answer was no.

Falconboy: Player transfers are a commonality with coaching changes. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more defections, but do not look at it as a bad thing or a continuation of what plagued Dan. As long as coach Orr can keep HIS guys in the program, I'm quite happy. Fact is Dusan could not really compete in the system that we're now trying to run.

I agree. I wish Dusan the best of luck, but he never really panned out here at BGSU. At least from what I've heard he's a kid who could look great at times in practice but couldn't translate that into game play.

He seems like a bright kid who has a great future ahead of him.

On a side note...Is anyone else excited about this game tonight. I'm bummed I can't be there in Cincinnati. I really want this team to start things off with a W.

No biggie, players transfer all the time when a new coach comes in. 1 more scholarship for us.

I am also excited, but more for Saturday and Sunday's game. I think Belmont is a good early season test, and being from Cincy I have been waiting for us to play them since I got here. I've been ready for Sunday since the schedule was released, but like the team will, I'll take it one game at a time. BEAT W. CAROLINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It also takes care of the 14 scholarships for next year as well.

G- Jakubowski, Clements, Sims
G- Moten, Brown
F- Miller, Thomas, Calhoun
F- Knight, Marschall, Madlock
C- Polk, Larson

That's 13 with a lot of new blood and new athleticism for next season

This is just a simple correction. DD had a very skewed view of certain types of players, and Dusan was a beneficiary. Dusan has two years remaining that he can take to some place like Findlay, where he really belongs.

Funny, I could see in the way Dusan was handling himself at the exhibition that his spirits were down. It was easy to interpret that as a sign that he isn't factoring into Orr's plans the way he did DD's.

Or,

G- Jakubowski, Brown
G- Moten, Clements, Sims
F- Miller, Thomas, Calhoun
F- Knight/Marschall,
C- Polk, Madlock, Larson

Darnell Brown is a point, no?

Also, I'm thinking that Madlock will overtake Larson in the depth chart. Larson looks like he's going to hurt himself out there. Furthermore, unless Polk, Madlock, or Larson make dramatic improvement, we'll be seeing Marschall and Knight togethor most of the time.
