3-way tie for first??
Not to look ahead, but the BobKitties beat Kent State last night, which means a win over Akron tonight would put us in a 3-way tie for first at 3-1 with the Flashes and the Zips. Akron is quite the team at home....but it's possible.

Tonight will be a good test for us. Akron has a deep, athletic rotation. The have enough guys with varied abilities that they don't have any real weaknesses. Also, they have distributed scoring and everybody gets involved in rebounding. On the other hand, their 16 games has been against a particularly weak schedule.
They have 2 quick, experienced guards that we've had problems with before. Middleton gets to his spot very well. And, for some reason, Dials has always given us fits.
Inside, Wood will be a good test for Polk. Wood is a 6-7, 245lb rebounding machine. If Polk turns in another good performance tonight, might it be safe to say that he's arrived?
Another interesting matchup is Chris Knight v. Quade Milam. Both are quick, frontline finesse players that get off of the floor quickly.
Nate Miller is a guy Akron won't matchup well against.
