MAC unveils new logos & marks

Post by BGSU33 »

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and it shows three new looks. I like the new colors better, but I also liked the old logo better.

What the heck is that last letter? It looks like a really bad move while playing TRON.

I agree. Those are bad.

Reminds me of the Hartford Whalers... also it also looks some HS first quarter Computer Graphics class... I am sure that DD could do better.

Heck take that same logo and go with Red White and Blue... and its a huge upgrade over blue gray and green.

Eh, I'm not really that upset about them changing the conference marks. They honestly don't look that bad either. Let's be honest, there isn't really a conference that has an "OMG!!!" logo that makes you change your religion.

The new logo is nothing to write home about but I don't think its THAT bad. I don't know, maybe it'll grow on us. The old logo was getting a tad bland though.

I think they look OK. To each his own.

Although it may have more to do with my distaste for the old look than any real embrace of the new one, I personally prefer the new design.

I am in the same boat. Its not that I like the new one, but that I wanted to see a change.

I'm OK with them. I've heard they are giving the schools the options to use their own colors, which is nice. I'd rather see an orange and brown MAC logo on the Perry Stadium turf or Anderson Arena court.

I think using the school colors will make the logo look a LOT better...maybe that's why they went with the colors they did, knowing that each team would have to make changes to it for their school colors. I'm digging it.
