MAC Summary
Here's my summary, this conference is bad. I mean really bad! If Miami had not lost Kenny Hayes they would be a top 64 team but this conference may not have a top 100 team now. I'm sitting here looking at my MAC tournament ticket form and wondering if I want to go this year or not. This conference will be in the 20's on RPI's by the end of the season.

MAC Prediction:
Miami goes 4-14 in conference play to win the East while NIU comes out of nowhere to win 3 in the West and take the Divison title. No other MAC team wins more than two conference games and an NCAA record number of games have two losers. UT goes 0-36 as they are so bad they are counted with two losses in all their games.
In the MAC Tournament Final, Miami loses to Ball State who loses to Miami. The perplexed NCAA decide that for the first time in recent memory the MAC gets two NCAA slots since both MAC tournament champs lost to each other in the final. But they make them both play in the play-in game and again both lose to each other in the same game so both advance before losing to Radford and IUPUIUFTWIND in the first round.

The good news is that, actually, the conference's RPI as a whole cannot be affected by MAC v. MAC games. The only thing that help/hurt the MAC RPI is the bracketbuster.OSUFALCON wrote:Here's my summary, this conference is bad. I mean really bad! Miami's current RPI is 11, with a strengh of schedule of 2. They will do nothing but go down as they play other MAC schools. If the go 15-1 in the MAC they will drop at least 40 points in the RPI. No worry this year for two bids or even bubble talk. The MAC will get one in the NCAA and one in the NIT. I hope BG is one of them.BleedOrange wrote:The good news is that, actually, the conference's RPI as a whole cannot be affected by MAC v. MAC games.
