That gets us back on track. Had to have that one. Losing to Kent, Akron and Miami I can live with.
Scott Thomas is playing well and Knight is playing better. Let's keep it going against the west. AZZ!

Just saw the final score...love seeing the W. Every game matters and 10-9, 3-3 MAC is decent. Ball State was 4-1 MAC coming in and I know they played all West teams, but still. We stay a game back of Miami, tied with Akron. The Zips won at UT tonight and Miami rolled NIU by 28.

Play of the game, no doubt, both from the perspective that it was a fabulous defensive play, and that it came at a critical point of the game with under 2 1/2 minutes left. If he doesn't make that play, you could make a case that we don't win this game.BGorDeath wrote:Knight's block in the 2nd half was a thing of beauty.

I agree that block was amazing and really got the place rocking! I liked the energy the crowd had at the end of the game. It is a great sized crowd considering the weather, and we played pretty well, although we still have a LONG ways to go. I'll take it though.

Eh, no. If you were actually got to watch the game, you'd see that the only reason Ball State is 4-1 in the MAC is because they got to beat up on the weaker West Division. They only have 1 starter above 6-4, and they are terrible finishing around the basket. They don't do any one part of the game particularly well either.VDub26Falcon wrote:good Ball State team.
IMO this is a game we should have won by more, but our offensive deficiencies prevent us from blowing anybody out.

Yeah BSU wasnt that good of a team. They had more offensive deficiencies then we did, so it was a must win.bgsufalcon24 wrote:Eh, no. I looked at the west standings, i didn't realize how bad that division was, only one team at .500 overall, everyone else isn't close (7-12 Western is the next closest team to .500)
