UT/Duke on FSN tonight

Post by UK Peregrine »

If anyone is interested, UT is playing Duke tonight at 8pm on FSN. Good chance to check out what Toledo has this season and to see what the MAC can do against a basketball powerhouse.

I'll be watching....go Duke! Here's an article from Today's Blade about Toledo giving up a home game to go to Duke, Coach Joplin's ambivalence about the Duke game compared to a home game....we've debated many of these very issues on AZZ, in fact.

I've never seen so many bad shots early in the shot clock in my life. Yes, Duke plays great pressure defense. I'm surprised, however, at how poorly Toledo has handled it. They are a fast, guard oriented, veteran team that should have responded better.

Coach K picked up his 700th win against turdledo tonight. That's impressive if you ask me and also pretty funny to think that anytime someone asks him who he beat for his 700th, he can say TU. 8)

Unfortunately, just about anytime someone asks Joe Paterno about a milestone win, "Bowling Green" comes to mind... :(
