That is an awesome website!murphdogg wrote:Accuscore, one of leading companies in predicting the outcomes of sporting events, based on over 10,000 simulations per game, has made their prediction:
BG averages winning by 7.7, wins 73.6% of the time, with a 45.7% chance of winning by 10 points or more. Projections have Nate Miller and Brian Moten in double digits, scoring 14 and 10.8 respectively. David Kool and Derek Drews of WMU projected to be in double digits as well, with 15.4 and 10.3 respectively. Spread is set at BG by 4.5, with BG covering the spread 61% of the time.
All good news so far...

Way to finish, Falcons! Great job!
16 points, 9 boards, 5 blocks for the OP in 28 minutes. (And only 2 fouls!)
21 and 13 for Miller

Did anyone else think that more people attended the women's game last night than the game tonight?? I really can't believe that 500+ more people were there tonight. It seemed so much more crowded last night. Oh well....athletic dept knows best
Great win regardless. We are finally growing some cahones and my man Nate, along with Otis, are really coming along. Really have nothing to complain about after tonight.....

There were a lot more people at the women's game last night. If the athletic department says otherwise they are lying through their teeth. The whole east side of AA was filled up last night, and it was maybe half full tonight. The west side was about the same.
As for the game, I didn't get in until halftime since I had to deliver paint to Sandusky. What I did see, the team is still struggling offensively with the game on the line, and better teams will take advantage of that. But the team is playing well on the defensive end, not allowing many easy oppurtunities inside. If there's a weakness there its our over-reliance on the zone, which leaves us susceptible to 3-pointers. But that's not a big deal. Foul shooting is getting much better as well, and we're rebounding the ball extremely well, even on the offensive end.
I like where this team is headed right now. We've got a legitimate shot to sweep through the West Division.

So you say there is nothing to complain about after complaining that the men's attendence number was larger then the women's attendence number from last night, that makes sense. We just won our 4 straight game and the first thing you even mention is that the numbers say the men had more people then the women.BgWaRrIoR wrote:Did anyone else think that more people attended the women's game last night than the game tonight?? We care too much about attendence, who cares if the numbers say the men had more then the women as long as both get the W

Did anyone see that WMU player (I didn't see who it was) trip Otis Polk after he pulled down the board. That should have been a technical, but they didn't call anything. He hooked his foot around OP's leg and yanked it out from under him.

Unfortunately, if everyone thought that way then attendance wouldn't be much of an issue because everyone would be at all the games regardless of record...however...that's not the case...BGFalconfromCincy wrote:...We care too much about attendence...
Congrats to the men for getting the job done yet again!!
Keep gettin' those wins gentlemen!!

Some late night media guide curiosity... it's been 4 years since BG has won four in a row in conference play. Before that, the last time was 7 years ago when they had a 6-game MAC win streak (in consecutive years, no less). We've had a few 6-game streaks here and there, but the last time BG has won more than 6 in a row in conference was 1983.
But for now... roll along one game at a time! BEAT CMU!!!
