Apparently a kid we offered, Dane Kopp of Newark, OH, quit this week after breaking team rules.

I hate to be this way, but after reading the following, I think his offer should, and likely will be pulled. I don't see how it wouldn't. I can deal with someone who makes a mistake, learns from it, and moves on. No, I don't know what he did, but he's a repeat offender who would rather quit than deal with it. Good riddance.
"He did not want to play anymore, the reason being he broke a team rule and decided instead of dealing with the consequences to not play anymore."
Kopp, who had received looks from Division I, Division II and NAIA schools, missed a game earlier this season -- Dec. 19 at Groveport -- for a similar rule violation.

I don't think there is any question he will not be getting a scholarship. He quit his team because he is immature and did not want to deal with the consequences of his actions. We don't need people like that on our team.able1 wrote:I hate to be this way, but after reading the following, I think his offer should, and likely will be pulled. I don't see how it wouldn't.
