while it's nice to see them putting us into the NCAA's (for the 1st time since '68), I think it will be EXCEEDINGLY hard for this team to make it...First of all, it'd be nice to win the MAC, and the only way to ensure that is to win our last two games, which won't be easy to begin with.
As to the MAC tournament, I see two major roadblocks....one, our pathetic FT shooting, despite which we've been able to survive a couple of games. But more importantly, our now lack of depth, especially our "bigs". We're playing basically 8 players now w/o Knight being available...and several games inside of 4 days or so, even if we DO get a bye...might take their toll...Admittedly, the 2-3 zone helps, both in terms of reducing fouls and keeping guys a bit fresher...but it's asking a heck of a lot from these kids to go through the tournament unscathed... That said.... GO FALCONS!!!!!
