Tough first half. Hard second half run, but its so hard to sustain. Akron called time-outs and responded at the right time. I really thought we had a chance to sneak into the ball this year.

Season's not over!

I'll go a step further and say BG doesn't get 20 wins this year.

But that is BG's black luck with the Tourney. Thank god the NCAA locked the NIT into place.

But a banner is a banner, and that is more than anybody would have expected.

Back from The Q. Just couldn't overcome that 1st half (20% from the floor!) The shots just weren't going down, but you have to give some credit to Akron there.

I thought BG had a nice crowd, for what it's worth. We are just never going to out draw Akron and Kent in Cleveland.

I know it's not the last game of the season, but I HATE watching the seniors leave the floor - very tough.

Great year. If you would have told me in November that we would have been MAC Champs and make the semi-finals I sure would have taken it.

the NIT game better be close..within 10 hrs of bg! i don't wanna have to drive to far, but at this point i'll drive to Hawaii (take a boat to) if i have too. I cannot go without BG men's basketball. I honestly don't know what i'm going to do!
I have followed this team all season and i don't wanna be done!!

I don't see how anyone can be disappointed with this season. I honestly never thought we would be where we were so fast after Louie got here. I figured we would adventually after 3 or 4 season but not in his second season. One thing I like that was said on fox sports thursday night game is that BG may not have the best talent in the MAC but is the best team in the mac because we play as a team. !

GREAT SEASON! Now let's win in the NIT!

Well, it was a tough first half but BG battled back. I thought the crowd was very good for BG...

This has been a great season and we are still MAC CHAMPS. The best is yet to come.

Congrats DC, BMo and Nate...for going out BiG time winners. Have fun in the NIT.

watching the buffalo/akron mac tournament final and i did NOT think it would be so hard to watch it. I am very excited at how our team played this season but the loss yesterday really sunk into me when i turned this game on and not being there or seeing BG... This NIT game needs to come soon so i can see BG play again!

I watched the tip-off, then my gut made me change the channel. I'm no real fan of 'Spoon after Buzzergate, but I'd rather see them dance than crAkron.

I also cringed when I flipped to the MAC championship game. I was so hoping to watch our Falcons fight for a bid today. Honestly, I haven't been able to watch any b-ball at all. There's nothing at stake to make me yell and scream at a TV today.

As a lot of you know, I'm a PSU fan, but I think they played their way out of the dance yesterday. Now, what I'm hoping for is a Penn State vs. BG match-up in the NIT. I'd love to see BG win a game like that.

I've kind of had my eye on PSU, too. I think it will be next March before I'm really over what might have been this weekend, but going forward, I'd love to see the guys play their tails off and win a few in the NIT, esp. against some major conference schools.

I'm curious what kind of matchup we'll get.
