Thank you guys for turning another "average at best" feeling season in late January into an exciting run into the national postseason and, more importantly, a MAC Championship! We came out tonight ON THE ROAD and punched a team that many thought was NCAA-worthy in the mouth for a half and still, in the end, had our chances to pull the upset in a by all accounts hostile environment.

And thanks especially to the seniors. Nate's never say die attitude on the floor, B-MO's clutch shooting and a huge night tonight by DC. We'll see you guys again in the fall when it's time to raise a banner!

Replacing those guys next year won't be easy, but we've got a great start with the way Thomas has come along, OP has put up some big nights and everyone else with a year of experience, knowing what it takes to win a MAC title.

BG hoops is back!

Agreed. Creighton was a tough draw, but we showed up pretty well against them. This team FAR exceeded my expectations and nobody has anything to complain about with this group. They gave us a MAC regular season title, and took us to the postseason for the first time in 7 years. Best of all was that they did it without excelling in many facets of the game...but they consistently outworked their opposition and it paid great dividends.

Nate, Darryl, and B-Mo can graduate knowing they gave their all and hopefully they helped rebound BG hoops to where we all want it to be. As you said, hopefully they'll be able to make it to Anderson to see us raise another banner...the first the men have raised in quite some time.

A horribly tough way to end this wonderful season. Everyone was talking about how we only had one basketball team at this school over the last few years and those were granted, but nobody can take anything away from the job Coach Orr and his falcons did this year! It is going to be hard to replace Nate, Darryl, and Brian, but I have faith in Coach Orr. I mean who in their right mind thought that in his second year here after the way Dakich left this program that wed be calling ourselves MAC Champions. It is going to be great seeing those banners going up next year.

Absolutely....this was such a fun season....the ups and downs and never say die attitude.

I'll take a team with heart any day and this team is ALL heart.

Way go go, BG.....MAC REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONS!!!!
