BG/Marshall Predictions

Post by BGSU33 »

This is our last chance to go down there and beat Marshall in their place as a member of the MAC. The last two times we've gone down there, we lost, including a heartbreaker the last time we were in Huntington. Let's send the Herd out of the MAC with a loss to BG!

I hope I'm wrong, but......

Marshall 66
BG 61

I really like this team, but BG has struggled on the road for several years. Long bus trip in the middle of the week probably won't help either.

I worry about this one, but Central won down there.

FREAK:

I agree that the Herd sucks. Anyone would. But take a look at the schedule Oakland played before us. If we played that schedule, we might have been 1-8 going into that game as well. In fact, Dakich said that in a pregame interview I heard. Alot of tough teams there. I think Akron is really coming on, and the other losses to Marquette, Illinois, Xavier, and 3 Big 12 schools aren't exactly shocking. Oakland is no slouch. They'll win alot of games in their conference.

11/19 at Xavier L 69-58 0-1
11/24 at No. 4 Illinois L 85-54 0-2
11/27 Marquette L 95-87 0-3
12/1 at Texas A&M L 81-63 0-4
12/4 at Missouri L 70-61 0-5
12/6 at Kansas State L 76-69 0-6
12/15 at St. Louis L 69-59 0-7
12/20 North Dakota St W 82-56 1-7
12/27 at Akron L 81-52 1-8
12/30 Bowling Green W 77-53 2-8

I hear that. I posted something about Oakland's sked after I did the post above. Akron just lost Jeremiah Wood for the season with a knee injury...BIG loss for the Zips.
