Great...more garbage to get ridiculed for.

Does anyone have any originality left?

You basically have a rip-off of Michigan State, a horrible (for us fans) movie correlation, and a sorta rip-off of New Mexico.

I agree with Rewingtom. Will some schools have fun with any of those names we don't need to give them bulliten board material a whole season ahead of time but......we did. Hope the students will come to sit/stand in their area.
I know where I want to sit. As a student I can remember people being asked to squeeze closer together to get as many people court side as possible. Please don't knock too hard on the "townies" or "old people" again. They make up a large part of your money giving/seat buying group. Just remember after you graduate to give back to place where you stood/sat to watch games and maybe got a great education along with it.

Don't get me wrong, Sue. I'm not knocking on the townies or the "old people" at all. Rather, I'm knocking on the students who have stopped showing up and claiming their seats courtside to cheer on the Falcons. It's just frustrating sometimes to be yelled at to sit down when we care so much about these two programs and KNOW what used to be.

And, I did graduate. And I'm already receiving letters from the Alumni Association looking for money. Maybe after I get a job and save up some money ;)

Sooooo when exactly did MSU trademark the term "zone?" Do we need to start calling our defense the "2-3 formation predetermined coverage area" defense?

All smartassery aside, I would like the first one if it were tweaked to "Ziggy Zoomba Zone" or just "Zoomba Zone", which I think has a better ring to it and doesn't draw any resemblence to a mild-mannered cartoon character.

I'm also on board with corporate sponsorship. Say if you call it the "Ziggy Zoomba Zone" and get Ziggy Zoomba's bar & grill to sponsor, cover the t-shirt printing costs in exchange for logo/name on the back, give them away for free (since the university got them for free) to the first x-hundred students at the opener / sell them dirt cheap at the remainder of games and BAM! You've got students at the games. Why? Because COLLEGE STUDENTS WILL DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING FOR A FREE T-SHIRT!!

I personally like the bird cage and the frack pack. I had the frack pack idea teh day he made the donation for the court a few years ago but everyone thought it was dumb except me. The Bird Cage, would be funny to see a bunch of cross dressers running around.

We could have a whole bunch of folks dress up just like the Hoggettes for the Washington Redskins.

I still think The Nest would be great...but hey, Falcons don't use those I guess.

I knew it would end up being named something completely uncreative like this. Not really a big deal what it is called but any team in the country with a bird as a mascot has probably thought of this same name already.
