Anyone watching KSU vs West Virginia

Kent looks tough, just like Akron. They have a lot of guys that can beat you off the dribble.

However, I started this post mainly to point out that the ESPN announcers just TRASHED that school up north.. "Manns attended Owens Community College, near Toledo. And since Toledo is small, and not really known for its basketball program, he chose Kent.

That made my morning. And yes, I happen to be "Sick" today during ESPN's college basketball marathon.

Kent State beat West Virginia by 10. How about some of the wins already my "mid-major" teams in Northeast Ohio.....Cleveland State beat #7 Vanderbilt, Akron beat Mississippi State and now Kent State beats West Virginia. All three games were on the road too.

Kent's guards are REALLY, REALLY good. Hate on Kraus all you want, but we're going to need him to keep up with Porrini and Guyton. I don't see Dee Brown doing anything resembling defending either of those guys. Evans the JuCo transfer is tough and athletic as well.

You're not kidding. We're going to need to beat up on the crappy teams in the MAC West if we're going to make a run at a conference championship.
