Some material to heckle UT players with...

Post by mossmaidi »

I remember one year some students did this at UT BG game during warm-ups, just heckling the UT players about their likes/dislikes. Thought it was pretty funny. If any students on the sidelines want to print this stuff out and use it that would be funny. Just look in the 'personal' section for some good stuff:

There wasn't much dirt in there. I looked through that the other day at work and besides a few liking movies and music, you really can't find anything like baking cookies.

Yeah there wasn't much there, but they used to have more detailed personal information that was used a coupple of years ago against UT, like one of them like to cook or something and they ragged him the whole game lol

It was a great idea though! Anything that could get to a player I would use...

I found a Toledo Blade article from last year, it was all about graduation rates for men's basketball in the mac. Are you ready for this??? Stan has a grand graduation rate of.... 13%!!!!

Not to defend Stan, but I find it hard to believe that ours will be much better in coming years. It may not have had an effect on our grad rate yet, but a LOT of guys will be counting against our rate: Moss, Crawford, Lewis, Hobson, Rosefelt, etc.

The way the NCAA calculates graduation rates is kinda worthless.

In the article I read those guys were already taken into account. Our rate with them accounted for is 38%.

Man, he can cook for me any time he wants! I love a man who can cook. I think I could look past the fact that he goes to UT for at least a meal. Maybe... Doubtful...

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
