I see 2 options ignoring the freshman since we know nothing about them.
1. Craw
2. Clark
3. Sealy
4. Calhoun
5. Black

With Rorie and the open scholarship, that accounts for all 13.

Kraus would start at the 2, but Clarke probably finishes when we need our "best 5" on the floor. The reason Kraus will start is because Clarke is the only other PG besides Crawford on this roster and their minutes will likely have to be staggered to make sure at least one of the two are on the floor at the same time. If Kraus struggles, my guess would be Henderson would have the best chance start at the 2 (need an outside shooter).
Sealey/Calhoun/Black has the potential to be the best front line in the MAC next year if Sealey improves his outside shot (12-18 feet), and especially if Cam Black improves from yr 2-3 like he did from yr 1-2. I'd like to see teams try to match up with that.

1. Your point about staggering PG minutes makes a lot of sense. However, I see Clarke, with his absurd first step and blinding speed, as so athletically dominant that won't be able to keep him off the floor for more than 10 minutes a game (for any reason). If the 2g is between Henderson, Orr, or Krauss, I see Orr emerging. Krauss isn't going to improve more than he already has. Orr will. Henderson might improve a TON, or he might gym rat legend (Dubray Black, Derek Kizer) who is sensational in practice but never seems to make things happen in games. He hasn't shown anything this year.Matty B wrote:STARTERS

2. Ya know, Sealey's outside shot is actually pretty good. He's shooting 44%. Any time I've seen him shoot from the perimeter, he's hit most of the time and his mechanics have been sound and consistent.
I see Parker helping out immediately on the wing and Holmes being first of the bench for low post depth.
In Sealey and Clarke, we have two freaks capable of breaking out and dominating. It's on coach Orr to make that happen.

Great point about Clarke. He probably does not start but sees starter minutes. From the little I know about Holmes I would say that he would move right into the Oglesby role.Matty B wrote:STARTERS

My fear about Sealey at the 3, is that he shrinks the floor for us. We don't have a ton of outside shooting as it is and then you take away Thomas who has been our best guy.
I agree that a more aggressive Sealey and Black could be pretty dominant in the league. Their ceilings are pretty high if they could just have more of a mean streak and be more aggressive with their shots.
