Blackout????
Re: Blackout????
You sure they were actually made by adidas? Several different jerseys over the years have been made by other companies with adidas logos sewn on.

What a season that was. Daryl Clements quit the team in the middle of the game, only to return to the starting lineup next game.

Yes. They were adidas.guest44 wrote:You sure they were actually made by adidas? Several different jerseys over the years have been made by other companies with adidas logos sewn on.
Re: Blackout????
If you listen to our AD, he insists Brown is not favored by our athletes or students. He has also cited the vendor issues and that our colors dont sell merchandise very well. All of these issues are of course ridiculous. Another excuse to mask horrible front office leadership with our athletic programs. The real issue is winning Mr Christopher.

I must admit...I really don't care. Black...Brown...Orange...whatever. I think the SID pointed out that we wear white all the time and white isn't a school color either. That was funny...

Right there with you. I will really care about this issue when uniform colors start deciding who wins the games, and thankfully that will never happen. As I told John Wagner on twitter yesterday the football team can wear lime green and purple uniforms if it meant we would win the MAC.
Baseball and softball have gray uniforms to wear for road games, thats not a school color either.....

Technically, white isn't a color at all, but a complete lack of color, if I remember correctly and black is a mixture of ALL colors put together. Correct me if I'm wrong.

White is the combination of all frequencies within the color spectrum. Black is the absence of color.factman wrote:Flipper wrote:I must admit...I really don't care. Black...Brown...Orange...whatever. White is the combination of all light and black is the absence of all light. However, white is the absence of color, where black is the combination of all colors.

Re: Blackout????
If black is the additive result of all colors...when we wear black technically we're wearing orange and brown.
So quit complaining...

Re: Blackout????
How did this thread degenerate into an additive vs. subtractive color mixing forum? Black uni's suck. I guess the men's basketball coach has a lot to do with the color change; he doesn't appear to like orange as we went to brown road uni's in the first place. I gues he doesn't own an orange suit, maybe a trip to CCNO will be in order
I'm going to try and stay out of the real thread. Saturday's game was too painful. When Kraus bricked a 3 you should have heard the comments in our section. With Kraus and Erger on the floor at the same time, it's pretty much 5 on 3.
