How can we get excited for the next year. It's basketball, we know what we are going to get and it may be horrible but lets take a legit look at what we got going into 2013-2014. Bear with me I have done it before but it's time to get positive
A couple lineups that I will assume
1 Clarke 3-Tisdale 1
2 Orr 3-Henderson 3-Denny 1
3 Sealey 4-Parker 2
4 Holmes 3-Mayleben 1
5 Black 4-Gomes 2
The above one is probably most likely and what I would suggest.
Below is if we keep Orr at the 3 and Clarke where he fits best.
1 Tisdale 1-Denny 1
2 Clarke 3-Henderson 3
3 Orr 3-Parker 2
4 Holmes 3-Sealey 4-Mayleben 1
5 Black 4-Gomes 2
Or...with huge trepidation.....
1 Clarke 3-Tisdale 1
2 Henderson 3-Denny 1
3 Orr 3-Parker 2
4 Sealey 4-Mayleben 1
5 Black 4-Holmes 3-Gomes 2
No matter what we should have an interesting time watching the new guys as 50% of our minutes are gone and 56% of our points.
It would be a shame if they don't find a way to get Orr and Sealey both in as starters I think.
If you go by minutes played last year
1 Clarke 3-Tisdale 1
2 Henderson 3-Denny 1
3 Orr 3-Parker 2
4 Holmes 3-Sealey 4-Mayleben 1
5 Black 4-Gomes 2

It's sooo hard to speculate on this stuff. Henderson and Parker might have breakout years next year. Zach Denny and JD Tisdale both could be anywhere from MAC FOTY to bench riders. Also, we have two scholarships to give out, although given Orr's situation I'd wonder if he'd be able to sign anybody worth having.

It's fun discussion though. No need to be right or wrong.BleedOrange wrote:It's sooo hard to speculate on this stuff.
If I am coach Orr I go Juco so we don't need to develop someone. If I am the AD I tell him to go Juco so that the schollies get used up fast.I'd wonder if he'd be able to sign anybody worth having.

If Orr runs true to form, I'm betting on your last choice, Globe.
1 Clarke 3-Tisdale 1
2 Henderson 3-Denny 1
3 Orr 3-Parker 2
4 Holmes 3-Sealey 4-Mayleben 1
5 Black 4-Gomes 2
But, in all of your lineups, it looks like it's Tisdale's job to come to the forefront and play PG.
It's hard to believe Holmes is only a junior
That will be fun to see if he progresses over the summer and becomes a Kick-Butt player. I'd love to see him and Cam swap positions next year. I'd also like to see Sleepy Cam wake up a bit more next year. Maybe some severe weight room work will make him stronger and more agile.
