And then rather abruptly left the interview. As if Todd had no business questioning if the guys were a little tired at the end. In my opinion, when a team cannot score points at the end of a game it has a lot to do with fatigue and not having it in your legs. But at least our guys "battled".
We did not have problems scoring, we turned the ball over. Reimold's throw out of bounds was not because he was tired. Just over threw his man

Is it because we have zero depth or because our coach has poor substitution patterns? I am with you in that I would like to see Lefeld and Vandermeer get about 5 minutes a game, probably in the first half just to get some experience. And I know Montgomery has his struggles, but I would like to see him get some time as well to get experience. Also to keep Almanson, Reimond, etc a little fresher for down the stretch of games. I think that has really hurt us the last two times out.
I'd rather see Austin anywhere than on the court in a BG uniform. Don't give him experience, do whatever it was that got all those other guys to run from the program.

The kid just doesn't seem to have any basketball IQ, and his jumper looks horrid, always comes out flat and off target.

He's a poor man's Cory Ryan...UGH.

I hear ya Hammb. But.... Montgomery is going to be playing some decent minutes next year (unless of course he is not here, like you said  ) because we don't have anybody else. He may need some game time to work out some of those issues. Then again, maybe he should never see the floor during a game. What do I know. :?

I know it is easy to grumble when we showed some potential and tough defense at the start, but I'll remind you that we, overall, talent wise, do not have a good basketball team.

I was one of the people over the summer that said we would be lucky to win 10 games all season. I ate my crow and was very impressed with the coaching methods and intense defense put forth by this basketball team. I have yet to be convinced our half court offense is anything to write home with (don't know if it isn't executed correctly or with the right personel or what), but overall I give credit to what this team has done this season.

Oh yeah, and I still don't really like John Floyd as a point guard.

I'm with you too Dayons. This team has already far exceeded my expectations for them. I'd love for us to make a MAC tourney run, and get to the dance, but right now I still don't think we're a great team. We've played better than our parts, so to speak. Losing Germaine is going to really hamper our ability to continue that level of play.

I was quite vocal that we wouldn't hit 10 wins this season, I just didn't see where we'd really made any strides. Overall I think Dan has done a fantastic job getting these guys to believe in themselves and achieve above & beyond their talent level. Unfortunately, I could see the wheels coming off that effort soon :(.
