I missed the event where the team went to George Lang. We went to a lot of road games together and I still have fond memories of Paisano's (EMU) and the Rusty Nail (Kent).
I really do wish things had gone better for Orr...not just because we all want to back a winner but because he seems like a genuinely kind and decent man. I know the whole "God" thing irritated many of you....at times myself included...but that's the Evangelical mindset. You live your life as an expression of your beliefs in the hopes that you will inspire someone who hasn't accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savoir to do so. I prefer to keep my beliefs more private than that....but I understand that no matter how uncomfortable or yes...irritating..the continuous references to God can be, it's motivated by a desire to help.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I have 0 problem with the God thing. But it has to be an asterisk and not the basis of everything. We seemed to recruit players that were not good enough to play at this level but happen to share his religious fervor.
