Bg v Detroit

4-0 = Oxygen please! Feel like I just got to the mountains and started a hike without taking time to get acclimated to the altitude.
Re: Bg v Detroit
Congrats from Wichita. This is one of very few games I've ever watched on an ESPN3 replay, but I watched this one.
The game looks like WSU's game on both offense and defense. The emphasis on defense and rebounding looks exactly like WSU plays the game. Look for Jans to add a transition game if he has the personnel and practice time to get it working. That might take a year or more, but I'd bet it's coming. It's a lot of fun to watch. Fun to watch (and wining) puts butts in seats.
We could definitely use Holmes. He'd be the starter at center for us. I don't know about his shooting range, but he has everything else the NBA is looking for. He'd need some shooting range to be a draft pick, but I bet he gets some looks and (at worst) gets into the NBA D-League.

Some Notes
1. I think this was the best team we played all year. They really gave us tons of trouble in the second half.
2. While I am really excited about the guard play and we are certainly much much more in control. I don't see a point guard who has been taking control and really facilitating the offense.
3. While Joseph starts I get the feeling that Jans thinks Austin has higher upside. He has played more in 3 of the 4 games.

Not sure about your concerns. Let's hope we have SOMEONE go off every game... The depth will come in handy, compared to last few yrs with only 7-8 players available.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
