Wichita State hadn't lost a regular season game in nearly two seasons. Chris Jans started 4-0 at BG so just like Wichita State he too hadn't been involved in a regular season loss for nearly 2 years.
So oddly as it may be, on the same night that Jans lost his first game, Wichita State regular season winning streak came to an end with a 1 point loss to Utah.
