Falconwriter - I agree with most of your post but I think the losing culture is gone already and has been since day one of Jans. We have a good coach that has set the bar high in year one - the team has played basketball the right way -hard, smart, and consistent- at nearly all times this year - that tells me we have a winning culture. Finishing and winning big games like we all want is the next step. Getting some more players in here will help.

I liked this quote from coach Jans Friday night : “It’s humbling to sit here and watch a team cut down the nets,” Jans said of Buffalo. “That’s something I’m used to doing.”

I see a very driven guy on a mission. Jans is saying all the right things and I feel like the results speak for themselves on the floor.

The program is on the right track - enjoy this week Falcon nation!

Ok so as an outsider,, and all,, just wunderin ,,, When was the last time BGSU was in a battle for the conf. championship and in the lead for a large portion of the season ?? Seems to me that if you can't see the change from inside the fanbase ,,ya'll should take a quick look in the mirror. The vision problem just might be lookin back at ya.

Most of us saw the change with Jans the minute he had his first presser. However, the goal for some fans is to focus on this losing streak vs. Akron.

Coach Jans has a made a difference very quickly. Fans will come back but we won't see fans like we saw in the 80's and 90's but I predict we will average 2,500 in attendance in the very near future. Many fans are just too lazy to come back. I guess they aren't fans.

That brings up a questions that I can't seem to find the answer to on this site: How many straight losses do we have to Akron?

Unless my math skillz or the original poster failed, it makes 14 straight and 22 of 23.
